Teacher and Student Information:
The Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists has established a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior who will attend an accredited art program following high school graduation. This money will be provided directly to the college they will be attending for tuition and fees in the fall semester of their freshman year. IHDA will also award $125 of art supplies to the student's high school Art Department to further Art Education.
Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists 2024 Scholarship applications must be POSTMARKED by MARCH 9, 2024.

For Academic Record:
We ask that the student then give the application to their school administrators so section II (Academic Record), can be completed and signed by the appropriate individual. In addition, a letter of recommendation for each student applying for the scholarship is also required. Without this letter of recommendation, the application will be considered incomplete and ineligible to compete for the scholarship.
You are encouraged to include 6 to 10 photos of artwork which has been completed within the past four years. Photos should include examples of various art media. These photos along with the application are the student’s voice to the selection committee.
