Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists (IHDA) is currently 25 members strong. Members receive a newsletter titled, Brushmarks & Paintspots nine times a year, membership directory and a handbook of the club's by-laws.
The Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists were organized as the "Tole A-Holics" in 1977. Our logo, a bunny dressed in a "Pierre a la Artiste" garb holding a glass of champagne and a paint brush was designed by one of our club members, Judy Warden. Our club was then located in the Champaign, Illinois area. As the membership grew, a contest for a new logo design was held. The current logo was created by Kathy Kilhoffer. |
Are you looking for a club that is centrally located in Illinois, full of activities and with a group of friendly, fun painters who paint at varying levels on many different mediums? Then IHDA is for you! For a membership application form download the following PDF Form.
IHDA has various committees that meet over the course of the year. Getting involved in one or more of the committees is a great way to meet and form friendships with other painters.
Our meetings, seminars and paint-ins are held at:
Recreation Center
100 W. Flessner Avenue, Rantoul, Illinois
